Kot Multanian Wala is located in Tehsil Phalia. It is 10 Km away from Phalia City. It is about 35 Km far from Mandi Bahauddin City. It is demarcated from its east boudry by the famous Rasool-Qadirabad Link Canal (R Q Link Canal) which is the point that denotes its distance from Qadir abad Barrage as 14 KM whereas from Rasool Barrage is 19 Km away from the Kot Multanian Wala.


History:_______________________________________________

No significant details about of its origin or foundations of this village are available from the older persons of the village.However, it was mentioned in the records of Land Settlement Process after 1857, which is a testimoney to its presence right before the War of Independence of 1857. It was partly inhabited by the Hindu Community before the inception of Pakistan, who migrated in 1947. Their homes are no more present in the village.

Population of our village is near 1200 and total number of Registered Voters is nearly 500.

Fateh Ul Allah Multani is believed to be the founder of this village.

It is a small village hence we cannot differentiate into different Mohallas, however for convenience sake; it may be divided it into two parts. It is according to most of the inhabitants for perception of certain location in Village viz West-side & East-side. In addition to above sites. there are 3 main deras of village dwellers.

People of this village are very hospitable and peaceful. They help each other in the hour of need. Most of the senior citizens are illiterate however the present generation is interested in studies and doing well in this regard. However it is the only Village in the vicinity which has most number of names of students on the Honour Board of nearby Islamia High School Helan.

People of the village live a simple life. They have very friendly behavior. Except few black sheeps, vulgarity is an uncommon thing. Majority of the inhabitants find their livlihoods through agriculture. Young boys play Cricket,Volly Ball or play cards in their extra hours. People of the village remain careful about quarrals and misbehavior because if any body do a little mistake other party persons quickly report to the police at Thana Pahrian Walai.

Most of the people earn their living by agriculture but younger generation tends to rush towards foreign countries, especially Gulf and European Counties to earn.
Some of the youngsters are in civil services like Police, Army, and Teaching and in biological Laboratories.

As mentioned above, it is about 11 Km away from Phalia City & abut 40 Km away from Mandi Bhauddin City. It is not an island but a peninsula because from all the sides, it is covered by water courses. RQ Link canal is located on the East and Separates it from Sheikh Ali Pur. Then another smaller canal separates it from Helan. The North side is standing apart by a small stream of Water from Bhinder Kalan whereas on the South, a canal named “Buddhy Nala” locally detaches it from Kot Ghulam Rasul (Mian Da Look).

• In the East is located Sheikh Ali Pur.
• In the west is Helan, the main market from where the people buy the eatables and other necessities of Life.
• In the North is Located Bhinder Kalan.
• In the West is Kot Ghulam Rasul, it is also known as Mian Da look..

Culture of the Village:____________________________

Culturally this village is very simple. People mostly do their own work and do not interfere in the matters of other except some mean and ill thinkers.

People help each other in cut season and sowing season especially a culture known as ‘mung’
Students of the village are in well cooperation and have arranged teams of cricket & Volley Ball of village which not only participate in different tournaments but also swarm some tournaments.

Twice in a year there is held a ‘Maila’ in our village, which is organized by Mian Muhammad Nazeer Mona.
